Oyibode Congratulates New Delta State PDP Chairman, Arenyeka, State Officers

The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Olorogun (Hon.) Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode JP FCIA, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Chief Solomon Arenyeka, Chairman of the Delta State Urban Water Board, on his victory as the new State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The election took place during the State Congress held at The Cenotaph in Asaba on Saturday.

In his message, Olorogun Oyibode also expressed his joy and congratulations to the other state officers of the PDP who were elected into various administrative positions during the congress. He specifically acknowledged the two Udu State officers, Hon. Peter Ogbavweni and Mrs. Vivian Ogheneovo, praising them for being exemplary ambassadors of Udu.

Olorogun Oyibode emphasized that the successful conduct of the Delta State PDP Congress demonstrated the party’s commitment to deepening and consolidating democratic practices in Delta State. He also extended his sincere appreciation to the outgoing State Executive Committee members, led by Chairman Olorogun Kingsley Esiso, for their outstanding leadership during their tenure.

The Udu Council Boss further applauded the State leader of the PDP and Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his unwavering support and encouragement towards the party in the state.

Speaking about the newly elected State Chairman, Olorogun Oyibode described Chief Solomon Arenyeka as a unifier, founding member, and leader of the party. He lauded him as an effective politician and seasoned administrator. He expressed confidence that, under Arenyeka’s astute and competent leadership, the PDP in Delta State will move to greater heights.
